It was not possible to recover a file on a Synology netwtwork attached storage unit. Maybe that\'s not possible at all.

in my case nothing works now there is on recovery tool left that i have left out to recover some files that i deleted(shift+delete) accidentallysoft-wares like this are just timepass

File(Sample.doc) was recovered, but it was correpted and I was not able to open it with MS Word 2007 or Word 2003.

Recover Data Easy to use and seems to find a lot of the files lost after an inadvertent partition of a vfat drive. However I can do similar things with Testdisk and Photorec, which are GPL tools.

Can`t recover data from iPOD Hi, I had tried using partition recovery software to recover my ipod. I had accidentally deleted the iPOD partition while installing windows on my hard disk which I want to recover now. But partition recovery does not starts when I connect iPOD to PC and when it is removed from PC, your software starts. Can you please fix this problem in your software and resend me the same. Opinion After deleting the partition that contained all my user data is searched internet for a tool to recover the lost data. I found and downloaded many including this one. They all did the same, show me the files that I lost and demanded payment before actually restoring what I lost. All though they all promised "free trials" etc. I felt like those people that got hit by a virus that encrypted their data and demanded a randsom for the decyption key. I had a SATA external disk damaged by an accidental power off and wanted to repair it. I downloaded DRW and attempted to use it. I did not understand that it would not actually save the files unless I had registered. This is not an unreasonable policy but it would be nice to tell people that when the program starts. Not for me I needed to retrieve some Quicken and Quickbooks files. Unfortunately, this tool was not designed for recovering those files.

Need something more. This software can restore files which have been deleted in a recent past. That's why it cannot satisfy me. I wanted to get back my files which I deleted before 6 months or more. It didn't work for that. If you please think on it then more people will be benefitted. Thank you.
